- Don't drink the tap water in Amarillo, Texas
 - Always bring your money with you (even if you want to lighten up your bag) so you can buy any souvenirs or snacks
 - If you like something buy it and don't worry about what else you will see
 - Live in the moment
 - Don't ask what/where we are going next (unless they give you a schedule)
 - Sit with somebody new everyday on the bus and talk to them
 - Keep a journal
 - Try something new/step out of your comfort zone
 - Sleep on the bus if possible
 - Always use the bathroom before you get on the bus especially if you can't use the bus bathroom
 - Look out the window every once in a while
 - Don't complain about what you see and didn't get to see
 - Keep in touch with your friends (I need to do this more)
 - Get to know the staff. The staff are some of the coolest people ever!
 - Just know, if you are with the same group of people for a long period of time, there is good chance that you will get sick
 - Enjoy yourself because the trip goes faster than you know it
 - Start a collection of either stickers, pens, postcards, etc. from all the places you visited
