USY on Wheels/ Teen Tour Tips

Here are some tips I learned from USY on Wheels that I want to share with any future Wheelnicks or if you are going on another tour some place!

• Don't drink the tap water in Amarillo, Texas 
• Always bring your money with you (even if you want to lighten up your bag) so you can buy any souvenirs or snacks
• If you like something buy it and don't worry about what else you will see 
• Live in the moment 
• Don't ask what/where we are going next (unless they give you a schedule)
• Sit with somebody new everyday on the bus and talk to them
• Keep a journal 
• Try something new/step out of your comfort zone
• Sleep on the bus if possible
• Always use the bathroom before you get on the bus especially if you can't use the bus bathroom
• Look out the window every once in a while
• Don't complain about what you see and didn't get to see
• Keep in touch with your friends (I need to do this more)
• Get to know the staff. The staff are some of the coolest people ever! 
• Just know, if you are with the same group of people for a long period of time, there is good chance that you will get sick
• Enjoy yourself because the trip goes faster than you know it
• Start a collection of either stickers, pens, postcards, etc. from all the places you visited
